We’re heading to Haiti! We’re so blessed to have the oportunity to return to Haiti with a group of ten others from Reality. We’ll spend a week serving at Child Hope teaching classes at the school, playing with the children at the orphanage, and helping out with the feeding program for the neighborhood children. Prior to getting to Child hope we’ll spend a few days with Hosean Ministries getting to know them and praying with them.

All morning the Christmas celebration continued with games and sports matching and cooking and of course, more tacraw.

and then his pooh bear world came crashing down

There is a creative genius out there who invented this marvelous creature: The SLIDER. It is shaped like a castle, rimmed with palm trees and poo bears, has two giant slides leading down to two rockets and dragons with a Micky Pez Dispenser doorway. Children had to receive tickets and then go in groups onto the slider. Over 600 tickets were passed out and the slider was only made possible through the generous donation of a friend in the States.

As it got dark we had dinner outside under a huge tent. By now all the orphanages had arrived along with many tribal people who were friends, relatives and neighbors. Hundreds of people were there. After dinner we went inside and the kids from all the different sites put on a Christmas show.
